Akosua Boateng

“In my dreams I hear the ocean and my grandfather. It’s not his screams in the waves, but his battle cry.”

Summary

Some are born near the sea, others are born for the sea. Brought up by a family of wealthy counters and stockers, Akosua learned at a very young age that money and math are everything. To her family, everyone else was just another possible client. It was her grandfather who brought her solace, who taught her the secrets of the deep scars in the ocean and the old traditions of hunting the monsters in it. A natural hunter, Akosua quickly outpaced her grandfather, but never ventured alone. What happened next seems preposterous, but Akousa claims that her grandfather died protecting her from a hunt gone wrong. It was after that incident that she began to hear voices, which she asserts are from the future. Mental health aside, she is a crowd favorite for her young age and her show of skill during the preliminary qualifiers.
