Summary

Not much is known about Auric beyond what he has told the public directly. As he once said, “I am an hourglass simply turned over.” Even amongst the wealthy and the elite, little has been found about who… or what he is. While he has exhibited the typical signs of undeath – lack of flesh and lack of life – he retains an above average appetite for anything of monetary value. What baffles his competitors the most though is not his seemingly endless pockets, but his lack of interest towards power of any kind. Records show him more than capable of purchasing several countries in gold alone, but uninterested to do so. What is known is his participation in the World Magic Festival is not as a sponsor, but as a contestant: an unliving riddle wrapped in silk and gold.
