The Geo

Take cognizance that from now on I will not accept here any copper from you that is not of fine quality. I shall sell my own copper at 25 geos per kilo and I shall exercise against you my right of rejection, because you have treated me with contempt.

Summary

For hundreds of years, each country had it’s own separate currency. Some used coins, some used shells, and others simple bartered. After the signing of 1053 Primis Accords following the end Elbaid’s World War, a centralized currency was created that must be accepted by every country. Enforced by the guilds and widely distributed by merchants and soldiers, most developed countries were forced to accept it. While some more advanced countries have passively tried to replace it over the years, knowing full well this breaks the accords, this process has been extremely divisive amongst general populations. This centralized currency is called The Geode or “Geo” for short. Its symbol is the golden eye with two parallel lines running through it to represent supply and demand.

Geode

The Geode or “Geo” is the official currency of Kepler. This currency is controlled by the Majoris guilds, but distributed by the Musa Guild and Bank. The coins are created at Feeri’s Temple in the country of ???. A single geo is worth one of itself and can be split or added into different nominations.
